Aprons on! The top spot is yours for the taking so get ready to become a star chef in this exciting food-competition camp! Each day, you’ll face thrilling culinary challenges inspired by popular reality TV cooking competitions. From mystery ingredients to timed cook-offs, you’ll learn teamwork, creativity and essential kitchen skills while whipping up some delicious dishes. With guidance from seasoned instructors and tapping into your own young-chef confidence, you’ll experiment with flavours, practice plating techniques and present your creations to a friendly panel of judges. Who will earn the title of Kitchen Quest champion? Join us and find out! Note: Culinary activities in the kitchen are complemented with arts & crafts, cooperative games and recreational swimming 2-3 times per week. For the Vaughan Studios & Event Space location, parking is not available on-site. Metered street parking and nearby paid parking options are available. The camp day is 8:30am to 4:30pm. Camp programming runs from 9am to 4pm. Before & After Care is not available for camps located at heritage homes, parks, Vaughan Studios & Event Space, the City Playhouse Theatre, or for any half-day camp.
