Summer Camps · Out-Trips

Adventure starts here! Conquer indoor rock walls that challenge your strength and agility. Immerse yourself in a cutting-edge live-action gaming adventure. Traverse treetops and zip through the air. Build friendships and life skills (problem solving, teamwork) navigating through challenges, then unwind playing games and sports. Note: Trip locations vary by camp session. An information package including trip destinations and an informed consent form will be emailed to parents prior to the start of the session. Participants will be grouped by age. The camp day is 8:30am to 4:30pm. Camp programming runs from 9am to 4pm. Before & After Care is available for campers who require care before the camp day begins, from 7:30-8:30am, and after the camp day has ended, from 4:30-6pm. Separate registration is required.

Explore the wonders of the animal kingdom! Whether you’re interested in mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, or insects, this camp will surely ignite the animal lover in you. Explore diverse habitats and learn about animal behaviours and conservation through daily expeditions to the aquarium, the zoo and an animal and reptilian reserve. Note: Trip locations vary by camp session. An information package, including trip destinations and an informed consent form, will be emailed to parents prior to the start of the session. The camp day is 8:30am to 4:30pm. Camp programming runs from 9am to 4pm. Must register for Before & After Care at North Thornhill Community Centre for camps located at Stephen Lewis Secondary School.

Water lovers embark on daily aquatic excursions to some of the 'coolest' water locales. Live your best camp life by the water, with trips to lakes and water parks. All participants will undergo a swim test at their home pool. Unsuccessful swim test participants will be required to wear a life jacket for the duration of the stay at the aquatic facility. Prerequisite: Swimmer 4 or equivalent. Note: Trip locations vary by camp session. An information package which includes trip destinations and an informed consent form will be sent out prior to the start of the session. The camp day is 8:30am to 4:30pm. Camp programming runs from 9am to 4pm. Before & After Care is available for campers who require care before the camp day begins, from 7:30-8:30am, and after the camp day has ended, from 4:30-6pm. Do you have the travel bug? Then let’s take a different trip EVERY day! Play mini golf, virtual sports, laser tag and arcade games. Visit an aquarium. Bounce around on trampolines and inflatables. These adventurous trips are aimed at trying new things, exploring sites within and beyond our local boundaries, developing leadership skills and (obviously!) having fun. Note: Trip locations vary by camp session. An information package including trip destinations and an informed consent form will be emailed to parents prior to the start of the session.
