Get a 'handle' on some popular racquet sports: badminton, table tennis, pickleball, – a mix between tennis and squash! Through drills, practice and playing (indoors and outdoors), learn fundamental racquet sports skills: power, precision, technique and timing. Racquet sports are known to serve up serious health benefits. Constant movement, running and swinging develops coordination and stamina, while strategizing improves focus and decision-making skills. Bonus: All that teamwork and friendly competition teaches campers how to be good sports! Traditional sports, and camp activities, including spirit events, are a component of this camp. All sports racquets are provided. Note: The camp day is 8:30am to 4:30pm. Camp programming runs from 9am to 4pm. Delivered in partnership with Logic Fusion. Let's-a go! Jump into Roblox Studio to design your own Mario Galaxy style game, creating brand new worlds you can play in with your friends and family! Build a Mario Galaxy-like 3D platforming game where Mario will have to beat smart enemies, overcome obstacles, and earn power-ups along the way. As a young gamer you’ll receive encouragement, motivation and individual attention required to level up your key game development and coding skills. Note: The camp day is 8:30am to 4:30pm. Camp programming runs from 9am to 4pm. Water lovers embark on daily aquatic excursions to some of the 'coolest' water locales. Live your best camp life by the water, with trips to lakes and water parks. All participants will undergo a swim test at their home pool. Unsuccessful swim test participants will be required to wear a life jacket for the duration of the stay at the aquatic facility. Prerequisite: Swimmer 4 or equivalent. Note: Trip locations vary by camp session.
